My wife and I live just outside of Armstrong, MO and have now for over 10 years. I grew up 9 miles from a town with a population of 400 people. My wife also grew up in a small town. We had thee boys, and they all are happily married, and are all living in Missouri. We had a successful Mattress and Furniture Store in Columbia, MO for about 10 years. Because of several factors I decided to close our business there in September of 2022 with the thought I would open a new mattress store near me. We carry Solstice Mattresses as well as Jamison Mattresses. Jamison Bedding has been making mattresses since 1883! They are known for their exceptional quality and value. They also have a line of Resort Mattresses. We will carry a couple of their most popular Resort Mattresses that Marriot Hotels have in their rooms. These companies are not as well known as Serta, Simmons or Sealy but the nice thing about these mattresses is that I can give you incredibly better pricing, for basically the same mattress. The warranties on the mattresses we carry are mostly ten year warranties, but the lowest price ones have one or five year warranties.
Most recently we have made a focus on selling Recliners from a company called Homestretch. These are high quality recliners made in the USA. We are offering Rocking Recliners, Power Recliners, and Lift Chairs. I buy bulk quantities, direct from the manufacturer so I am able to cut costs and provide my customers with a quality recliner at a low price.
One of the suppliers of our bedroom furniture comes from a company called Perdue. Perdue is a company from Rapid City, South Dakota. They have been making bedroom furniture for almost 50 years. They are famous for the chests including the Big Chester. They make affordable, matching furniture sets which include the bed, chest, nightstand, dresser and mirror. We will carry some of their product on hand ready to go. If we happen to be out of the item you want it can usually be ordered and delivered to our store in 2 - 4 weeks. We have also now started buying from American Wholesale Furniture. We are buying bedroom furniture, recliners and rugs from them.
Another supplier we use extensively is a company called Malouf. We get our adjustable bases, sheets, pillows, mattress protectors, frames, platforms etc. from them. They are a company that is located out of Utah and they have warehouses throughout the USA and we are usually able to order and have their product delivered within a weeks time.
